5 Weekly Goals Post Link Up

5 goals weekly link up

Well, last week I did pretty well. The closet is cleaned out and ready for Baby Girl’s clothing and diapers. The containers are about halfway sorted and matched with lids. The budget is taken care of and ready to go for July. I got three blog posts written too! And my monthly shopping plan is coming along nicely. But even with a birthday and the 4th of July holiday I want to make a 5 Weekly Goals post so that I can move ahead on my list of things that I want to get done.

1. Weed the garden and get Epsom salt on the peppers.

2. Bake the 20 lbs of legs and thighs that are in the deep freeze and make 3 batches of cookies/muffins for the freezer. It is supposed to be cooler this week and I want to take advantage of it.

3. Bake a birthday cake and enjoy Wednesday with my oldest daughter who is turning 11. I have a HUGE surprise planned for her on that day and I can’t wait! We are in the process of preparing her for mentorship starting next year so I am working on bringing women into her life that I feel will be an asset to this season.

4. Pick a date and send the invites for our “Summer Splash” party in July. We don’t throw birthday parties for the children with their friends so this year I told them that we would throw one big summer time party just because. It would give them the chance to play games, decorate and have “fun” food with their friends without the need for presents. So it is time to put the plan in motion.

5. Enjoy our new Circle Time schedule. Thanks to a review that I am working on for the Crew we are adding a new part to our day. And it works great because here in Missouri tomorrow starts a new logging year for homeschoolers. So as we are working through our Bible study, and our History we will be logging hours and getting a head start for the new year.

What are your plans for the week? It is a holiday week and my husband has a four day weekend coming up. We are all looking forward to the long break. We will be spending the day on Thursday swimming, grilling, and laughing at my parent’s house and then on Friday it is dishwasher shopping and home projects. Should be a great weekend. Can’t wait to see your link ups or read your comments.

  1. My daughter’s birthday is on Wednesday as well! I didn’t get everything on my list accomplished last week, partly because I gave priority to spending time with my daughter, so I think it was for a good cause! I included my five goals as part of my weekly wrap-up post, which I think will work out well since I’m posting that on Mondays for the summer. Have a great week!
