Thankful Thursday

I haven’t done one of these posts in a very long time but I felt led today to focus on the blessings in my life. Some days we just need to refocus our hearts on the blessings and less on the hurt of this world, don’t we. So for this Thankful Thursday post my prayer is that it will help you to remember that you are blessed. Counting our blessings can lighten our load and make our heart sing! So, dear sisters, leave me a comment listing your blessings and then smile and spend your day feeling blessed.

Thankful Thursday
My Mother’s Day gifts from my children.

My blessings –

1. My home. – It fits our needs and is strong and safe. It is home.

2. My job – No, I don’t work outside of my home but I truly love schooling my children and serving my family within the walls of my home.

3. Summertime – Though the heat and humidity in Missouri can be killer at times, overall I love summertime with swimming and bbq’s and campouts and gardening

4. My husband – He works hard everyday to provide for us. He manages the affairs of our home in a way that offers me utmost security. And he spares no expense to keep his family healthy and safe. He is such a Godly man and I am so thankful.

5. Fruit – Oh my, right now this momma can’t get enough fruit and I am so thankful to have access to food that is feeding my body good vitamins and minerals and yet tastes just so good. I am headed to the store tonight to restock my supply of apples, watermelon, and oranges.

Thankful Thursday
My children playing one morning this week. I never tire of watching them grow and play together.

Now, don’t forget to leave me a comment and tell me what you are thankful for today.

  1. I am 74 yars old, I am an old mom but I have had awhile to have my Savior to have blessed me every day of my life.
I lost 3 babies , then lost 3 babies after my baby girl , but how she has a blessed me, I don’t have the words. The good Lord still bless me to this day. My baby grew up to be a God loving woman . And I am blessed to still be here with her.
I admire you so much and I read every e-mail you send. You are are so much your child of God, just like your mother and father.
I admit, if all seven kids would have lived I would have been in a padded room. But I am blessed so much to have had my daughter!!!
    You are a Saint! Truly!
