Maggie made a guest “appearance” over on Happily Domestic this week and I wanted to show off her first ever blog post. I am so proud of her! She choose some recipes, let me photograph while she cooked and outlined the steps taken for the post. She has fallen in love with being in the kitchen and that just makes my heart so happy. I love being in the kitchen and have since I was a little girl and I have tried to help foster that love in all of my children. Not only is it a vital skill for their adult life but it is also such a help to me right now.
While I have been under the weather these past few weeks she has been an amazing help. I really don’t know where this household would be if it wasn’t for her. She has cooked, cleaned, cared for children, done her schoolwork and helped with laundry. I have been so blessed by her willingness to serve when I couldn’t. And for the most part, she found joy in doing it. And that is such a blessing!!
