Growing Deeper Roots – A Series

What happens to a tree with no water? What about a person with no food? Or a car with no gas? They aren’t much good are they? They just can not function. What about your spirit? Are you feeding it? Taking care of its needs?

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalm 1:3

Your spirit is designed to learn and to grow just like any other living thing. But if you don’t feed it, it can’t grow. So this week we are going to be talking about the “how to”. We will talk about ways that you can help your spirit grow and flourish in the Lord.

As your walk grows in the Lord you will be better able to handle the “storms” of life. Deeper roots and a strong “trunk” will allow you to stay firmly planted on Christ. And you must feed your spirit on a daily basis for your “tree” to be strong.

So, are you ready to grow? I hope that you will join us this week for a series all about growing in the Lord. A week full of ideas on how to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might Ephesians 6:10

Let’s join together and “Grow Deeper Roots” sisters!
