Even after a horrible drought around here this summer,
we have had one on the prettiest falls
full of color and beauty
And it has reminded me that God can turn ashes into beauty and take something dead and make it alive. He does that in nature and He can do that to hearts! He is worthy of our praise!
“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.”—Isaiah 61:3.
