Monday Update

Sorry I didn’t post this yesterday but after I got to Jeremiah’s room and we all visited with him and had a snack in the Ronald McDonald room and I sent my family off to Aunt Erin’s for the night my body CRASHED. I don’t know that I have ever felt that tired! But after a night’s worth of interupted sleep, I am feeling much better. Jeremiah is doing well this morning. He has been started on 10cc (1/2 oz) feedings every 3 hrs and he is letting these nurses know this morning that it is not enough!! There are a couple things that will be checked this morning and then hopefully we will be increasing that. He is also going to get dressed today and get a new big boy bed!! I can’t wait to see the look on is sisters’ faces when they get here tonight!!
Here are some pictures of the much anticipated first old! This was also the first time we were all seven in the same room! Daddy was behind the camera and momma was so very happy to have all her blessings around her.

Just looking at Josiah’s face makes me think “Oh great and now I have another one!!!”

  1. God is so good, I’m very happy to see baby Jeremiah in your arms Amanda. We will keep praying that he continues on this path and is home with you all soon!

  2. So glad your baby boy is doing well… and as for Josiah’s face, our eldest seems to feel the same way each time we tell our brood that we are adding one to the mix. :)

Prayers are still coming your way for all of your needs no matter how big or small!

  3. Yay! You all look so happy. I will be praying that all 7 of you with be in your own house by the end of the week!

  4. Sounds like he’s doing so well – my little man was born with severe pulmonary hypertension and was ventilated for 10 days and left hospital at almost 6 weeks old – every day felt like a week! So I’m thinking of you today and hope that your wee boy will be home soon

  5. Oh Amanda, you look great and so does he! I am sure it will be fun to see him dressed and in a bed. Did his daddy get to hold him?

  6. So very happy that there are encouraging updates… have been thinking an praying like crazy for you all. The burden of a sick child as well as caring for the rest of your family is just overwhelming for a mom… I am so praying for some relief for you!

    Be blessed-
    Amanda
