It is hard to believe that it is already here. But today we celebrate Elizabeth’s 1st birthday. There is so much growth and change in the first year. These celebrations are always bittersweet for me.
Here birth was such a truly amazing day for me as we were allowed to do a much more family centered C-section and the bonding and peace that I felt during the whole day was something that I will never forget. It was so relaxing and wonderful and surrounded by family. I couldn’t have asked for a better memory.
We had a fun little gathering with family last night and today we are heading to the park to play and then celebrating with cupcakes at church tonight with our friends there.
