I has been quite fun having my own newborn model to practice my newborn photographs this month. It would have only been better if I was a little more physically able to move and pose and bend and stoop to make the poses more creative. But I am please with the ones that I got and I wanted to share them. You can see how the wonderful work from Naptime Knittery looks in newborn photographs as well.
Elizabeth is proving to be a pretty laid back little girl who is happy to be passed from sibling to sibling each day. She is a pretty good sleeper most nights and sleeps for 7-8 hours and only wakes once. She does have some rough nights but I have had my fair share of non-sleeping babies so I am determined to NOT whine about her occasional sleepless nights. She lost her umbilical cord at 12 days old and she had her first bath at 14 days old. You would have thought we were making history with how excited the older children were to watch her bath. I can’t wait to watch them get excited over each new milestone she hits.
Thank you for your patience with me as we are adjusting to this new life with 6 children and have a great holiday weekend! Enjoy this “last” summer fling. Have any big plans?
