I am always interested in new Bible study tools to use with the children during our homeschool day and our family worship time in the evening. So, when I heard about the Bible Study Guide for All Ages review available I was thrilled. I was blessed to be able to try their Intermediate Level Student pages and their Bible Book Summary Cards. This level of product is designed for use by 3rd-4th graders and retails for only $5.97 a set. I am using set 1 which has 27 lessons in it.The Bible Book Summary cards are designed to be used with almost any level of Bible Study Guide’s lessons and retails for $24.95.
One of the biggest benefits that I have found to this product is that while the set of pages that I received is designed for the 3rd-4th graders it was easily used by our whole family during this review. I would work through each lesson page with all 5 children and include them in answering some questions, coloring parts of the lessons, and reading the Bible verses. It worked great this way, but I was so pleased to discover yet another aspect of this product.
The different levels of the Bible Study Guide for all Ages work together. They all study the same Bible portion for each lesson. This makes it a great homeschool resource as you can buy student pages at the Beginner Level (ages 3-pre-k), the Intermediate Level (3rd-4th grades) and the Advanced Level (5th-6th grade). At this time it is suggested that because the 1st-2nd grade guide doesn’t follow the same schedule to either move the child at that age up or down depending mostly on their reading ability.
These lessons include timeline assignments, mapping activities, and Bible memory work. Also available for purchase is a Bible songs cd and a huge wall size interactive map and timeline. These resources look like they would be lots of fun too! I must say that I have been so pleased while using this product in my home that we have already purchased several different levels of the student pages for use at our church and I can’t wait for them to get here so we can dig into them! This is truly one of the best, most cost effective children Bible study guides that I have seen in a long time!
