Most of us find pleasure in being around other like minded people. But did you know that it will help you to grow in the Lord. Or it should.
If we are truly practicing Godly fellowship and hospitality we will be encouraged in our walk, have our eyes opened to nuggets of wisdom, and be loving shown areas in our lives that need work by those that we are around.
And A)”>let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 B)”>not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and C)”>all the more as you see D)”>the Day drawing near. Hebrews 10:24-25
The Bible commands hospitality and fellowship amoung believers. It isn’t just for our enjoyment but it is to help up grow. And we shouldn’t limit our hospitality to those just like us. We must learn to open our hearts and homes and churches to those of different status than we are.
We must love those of different lifestyles, the poor and needy, and those of different moral standards. It teaches us to serve, keeps us humble, and opens our eyes to a hurting world that needs the love of our Christ.

How do you “grow deeper roots” through fellowship? Do you open your home to others? Do you attend your local church services when the doors are open? Do you encourage your pastor by your prayers, your attendance in service, and your actions? Do you lift up your sisters in Christ through a card, a phone call, or a meal shared together? Fellowship is needed for a healthy spirit.

What is your favorite way to practice Godly fellowship?
