Calming Chaos

As the new year is upon us we will all, most likely, be looking to improve our lives in different ways. But one of the biggest areas focused on at the beginning of each new year is “organization”. If you are one of the many people that has this on your list of goals for 2013 then this series is for you.

Would you like to learn some ways to keep your head above water? Have you ever cringed when someone called and said they would be stopping by in 20 minutes? Would you like to be able to sit down in the evening without feeling defeated by the day?

During this series “Calming the Chaos” I will be focusing on different areas of life each post. Telling you how I manage to keep my home (for the most part) ready for company at a moments notice, and how I am able to wake up to calm instead of yesterday’s chaos.

In many ways the apperance of your home sets the mood that people feel when they enter. If you struggle to find clean spoons for breakfast or if no one can even find a seat in the living room due to unfolded laundry they won’t feel at peace and rest in your home. You will feel more stress and tension and so will your children. They will pick up on that and they will bicker more and they will follow step and will leave chaos everywhere they go. No one will pick up and they cycle will continue.

But, I will prayerfully and with love, be offering you the tools to break this cycle and to finally create a home a calm out of the chaos of your life right now.
