It is hard to start logging a journey in the middle of a trip and in a lot of ways, I have found, that our children’s lives are a journey that we live out from day to day. Posting these pictures of Maggie on or around all of her past birthdays seemed to be the best way to show the begining of the story while starting after the journey has begun. Maggie was born on July 3rd, 2002. She will turn 5 this year and then start kindergarten in the fall. This is a fact that she is anticipating greatly and her mother is just beside herself in disbelief that it is already here. She is a very strong willed little girl with lots of determination. I know that this will take her far in life but right now it sure does stress her out at times when things don’t go her way. She is always ready with a smile and hug for those who need it and much to our amazement has become a social butterfly. So, I hope that you all, no matter when you have joined her journey, will enjoy this little glimpse into her life.
Well, I joined Maggie’s journey the day after she was born. Due to illness, I wasn’t there for her birth, but I think she will forgive me for that. I have enjoyed watching her grow. I hate the fact that I will be missing so much of her journey in the next year and a half. -Aunt Erin
